Saltburn Seaside Extravaganza 2011
July 10th – To celebrate the 150th Anniversary of Saltburn, on this day the seaside promenade was given over to a vintage car show. There were some traditional funfair rides, and people were encourage to wear vintage ‘Victorian’ clothes.
Scooterists
On a Sunday morning in October 2010- a meeting of Saltburn Scooter club was arranged on the pier. It turned out that the weather was awful- wet and cold. But this made for good photography due to the reflections on the wet decking. On a more clement day the previous year, I met the chap with the red Vespa outside what was then the Gym on Milton Street.
Custom Cruiser Rally 12/07/2014
First post – for no particular reason. The meeting of custom cruiser bike enthusiasts in July 2014. They cycled from Redcar to Saltburn to enjoy a Trillo’s ice cream, and then back to Redcar- presumably for a Pacitto’s.
